Can a 75-Year-Old Really Make Money Blogging? My Honest Journey When I started my blog, I was 73 years old.I don't know,anything about Blog,my nephew say,Blog Stinks,don't waste your time...I'm a Rebel,I don't listen to people,I have to check it out,and decide myself,is worth it my time or not? Most people my age are resting. Watching TV. Slowing down. But something inside me said: “Try.” So I did. I opened my blog on Blogger with big hope. I didn’t know about traffic, SEO, or how ads worked. I only knew one thing: I have stories. And stories matter. My First Surprise: maybe like 10 Views to start,but I want to be, all over the world,so I google it, what to do,and VOILA! After publishing a few posts, I checked my statistics. Only like 22 Views, 2nd time. I couldn’t believe it. People from different places were reading my words. A 75-year-old grandma typing from her home — and someone out there was listening. That alone felt like a miracle. Now 2 years,later,I'm 75 years old Grandma,I check my Blog,and OH BOY, I have 1.3 K VIEWS,from all over the world,is very exciting... Waiting for Ad Approval I connected my blog to Google AdSense., I been rejected,like 17 times,so I cleaned up my Blog, and... Now I am waiting. The dashboard says: “Getting your site ready to show ads.” That means review time. It can take days or even weeks. So here is the truth: Blogging is not instant money. It is planting seeds. What I’m Learning At 75, I am learning: Patience,you accumulate,getting older and wiser,thank you dear God,for that,and all your blessings in my life, because,me,and my loved ones, are happy,healthy,thanks to you. Perfection,is not important to me, it,is, how makes me feel...,and writing makes me happy,and thinking back,how things were once in a while,in my lifetime, and,I went thru everything,again,with the grace of God in my life. Age is not a limit — it is,how you think and feel.I feel great,thank you dear God,for that. I am writing forever I feel like. I am improving little by little. I am not quitting,is a lot of fun.. Because if I can do this at 75… imagine what anyone can do. Can Seniors Make Money Blogging? Yes. But not overnight. It takes: Quality content Time, I'm doing it,since I was 73 years old,and STILL NO EARNINGS YET...so what? Traffic And faith I don’t know exactly how much I will earn yet. But I know something more important: I started. And that already changed me.
