The Day My Boyfriend Offered a Squirrel a Personal Snack!
You know, life with my man is always an adventure—especially when food is involved. My boyfriend was sitting peacefully at the table, just enjoying a handful of nuts right out of the jar. It was a quiet afternoon, the kind where you really appreciate God’s little blessings.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, it happened.
That little neighborhood squirrel, the one that thinks he owns the yard, jumped right onto the edge of the table! He was fast, like a tiny thief with a mission. He knocked the jar of nuts right off the table, grabbed a couple, and was gone in a blur of gray fur.
My boyfriend—bless his heart—didn't even seem mad. He just yelled after him:
"Hey! Why you're stilling my nut? Just ask and I'm giving it to you!"
I just had to sit there and laugh. Honestly, darling, you never know what kind of comedy God is going to send your way. But I guess he felt bad for the little guy. Just another day of love, laughter, and wildlife in our house!
