Page Nr.7     My Book:  " So you sure you want to move to Hollywood?...

I was working very hard , a lot of hours in movie,tv sets, and after that, in case I finished by 9 PM, I was going almost every night, running,at theThe Comedy Store,in Hollywood,in Sunset Blud. ,3 nights a week, I was booked,to perform ,Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday,in the Belly Room,and also in The Original Room,ussually,they booked me,like the 1st or 2nd comic,to perform,which I loved,

I was running,  all around Hollywood,California, all over production companies, agents, studios, to give out to everyone,my Picture and resume,to get called, for auditions,by somebody..Was a very,very hard work,no car,going everywhere,but I don't care,I just want to make it so bad,.I just wanted,to get a great break in Hollywood,so I don't have to struggle...

Well,well, well, what you know, Mitzi,the owner,from the Comedy Store,just booked me,after,one years and half from nonpaid regular, to a paid regular, comic, getting booked in La Jolla,Ca, Comedy Store, for 3 days, getting paid $150.00,for 3 days work,and free hotel.Man, I was so happy,I can't believe it, YES!!!

Thank you dear God. My Break,just come...

Monday,at 12 Noon, I supposed,to call, the Comedy Store,for my bookings,and instructions,for La Jolla Comedy Store .

Friday, I just went to the Sunset Gower Studios, to Garry Shandling show,because I hear Garry,Used to work in the Comedy Store for a lot of years,before,he got his break in that tv.show.

I just walked in,I went to the Casting Dept.first,I give them,my Picture and resume,and after that,I went to Garry Shandling Show,he, was doing the show,so I just tell the front office,I'm from the Comedy Store,I'm a Comic, and I wait for Garry,till he finish,or is in break,because I want to talk to him.They assumed,I know him, so they don't asked me any questions.I wait like 1 hour or so,and a tall white lady,come out,and tell me: Garry Shandling,doesn't know you,and he doesn't want to talk to you. I say: Well I work in the Comedy Store,as a Comic, and he is a Comic also., so I want to talk to him,please.She yell at me: No! Please leave now,before I call security!!!

She called already security,because,when I exit the door from them, on the steps was coming up the security guerd after me,and tell me to leave the studio.I tell him my story,he just don't want to hear about.

So here come Monday, 12 Noon, I called up the Comedy Store with my bookings for La Jolla Comedy Store.The Manager, a guy,from the Comedy Store, tell me: YOU ARE FIRED FROM THE COMEDY STORE!!!,I asked why? He say,because Garry Shandling called  Mitzi,the owner,and tell her, I was very demanding,to be on his Garry Shandling show.I say What? NO!!! I was nice,to his assistant lady,and she called security on me,to leave,the studio.He say,Mitzi ,don't like it, you go to studios,and tell them you work in the Comedy Store.What? Nobody tell me that, I was very proud to work for you at the Comedy Store...I say,please tell her,I'm very sorry, and to, don't fire me,the mgr,say.OK, Just call her back, after a year or so,and let's see,but now,just drop it.I say, OK.

I called a few times, they don't want me back at the Comedy Store, after one and half year,and telling them I never do it again, she take me back.

I was very happy, I tryed to keep a low profile,

Usually,I was the last nonpaid regular,and after me,Mitzi,coming in to check the new auditioners,every monday

Tommy Davidson, he's a very funny comic,always used to perform before me,and he did like 20 or 25 minutes.He supposed to do like 10 minutes,just like me.So because he perform a lot,and the MC,don't take him off, like he used to take me off always 10 minutes,Mitzi, just don't want me, up in stage, she just wanted the new comics. I walk up to Mitzi and say: Please,Mitzi,put me on,Tommy,perform like 25 minutes,so I lost my time.She say: No,

I say, Please Mitzi,put me on, she say again, No,I want the new auditioners only.So I yell at her : F...     you bitch...I walked up to the MC,I yell at him, at Tommy,I scream at him also.Tommy yelled  back at me: F...you bitch!!!, so that was my last day in the Comedy Store...

I worked at the Comedy Store,for 4 years, was fun...just like a college,4 years, and you just move on...

I apologyzed to Mitzi,the management,she don't want me back no more...

So here we go,Life goes on...
